A- Factories of the

The company consists of
three factories and
eight departments:
1- Ninavah Drug Factory
It has the following
departments:
a- Tablets and Capsules
department.
b- Creams and Ointments
department.
c- Syrups and Oral drops
department.
d- Eye drops department.
e- Inhalers department.
f -Anti-biotic
department.
Departments to be
completed:
* Ampoules department.
2- Intravenous solutions
Factory.
3- The specialized unit
for Anti-cancer Drug
Industries.
The establishment of
this unit was started in
the end of the year 2001
and was inaugurated in
2002. It conssistes of
the following
departments:
a: Anti-cancer Tablets
and capsules.
b: Anti-cancer Ampoules
(under achievement).
Producing Departments in
Ninavah Drugs Factory
and their Designing and
Available capacities.
Tablets Department:
It is one of the most
important departments in
Ninavah Drugs Factory
where the designing
capacity of this
department is( 1,055)
billion tablets and the
available capacity is
(791) million tablets
annually. This
department produces 51
kinds of tablets.
Capsules Departments:
Designing capacity of
producing capsules is
(202) million and the
available capacity is
151 million capsules
annually.
Ointments Department:
Designing capacity of
producing ointments
is (7,2) million tubes
and the available
capacity
is (5,5) million tubes
annually.
Suppositories
Department:
Designing capacity of
producing suppositories
is (10, 6) million
suppositories and the
available capacity is
(10, 2) million
annually.
Syrups Department:
It is an active
department where it
contains a huge
producing line for
syrups. The designing
capacity of this
department is 13.4
million vials of syrups
and the available
capacity is 10.000
million vials annually.
Oral Drops
Designing capacity of
oral Drops department is
4.5 millions vials of
oral drops and the
available capacity is
3.4 million annually.
Eye Drops
Designing capacity of
eye drops department is
(6.7) million vials and
the available capacity
is (5) million vials
annually.
Inhalers Department
It is one of the modern
departments which have
been operated for test
run. The firs
pharmaceutical produced
in this department is (
Salbutamol 125 mg/ dose)
Anti –Biotic Department:
It has been inaugurated
recently and it is one
of the effective
departments in Ninavah
Drugs Factory.
The first pharmaceutical
produced in this
department is Erthrosam
(ethylsuccinate 250 mg.)
“Intravenous solution
Factory"
It took (18) months for
the Swiss company
(VIFOR) to set up the
factory in 1981. The
factory was inaugurated
in 1983 and the actual
production started in
1984 By attaching this
factory to Ninavah Drug
Factory and establishing
the specialized unit for
Anti- cancer drug
industries, The state
company for drug
industries and medical
appliances has been
formed.
Note:
Now, the factory is
discontinued because of
the damages happened to
it within the events of
the last war in
9/4/2003. |
