The state company For Drug Industries and medical Appliances in Ninavah is located at a distance of 10 Km. to the north of  Mosul on the highway between Mosul and Dohuk.

The company (N.D.I) was founded in 22/4/2002 as it was a small factory subsidiary to the state company for Drug Industries and medical Appliances in samara (S.D.I) .

The area of the company is about 7500 sq.m.of which 5000 sq.m. is a factory – in the left side of Mosul near (ALKarama Quarater ) for producing Intravenous solutions. The area of the company base including the area of the general administration and the plant administration buildings is 20000 sq.m. Also, The company contains other buildings for quality control, storage and projects departments, in addition to cafeteria, 70 houses for the officials, school, nursery, mosque, a house for hospitality, stadium, basket ball and volley hall field and other services
